The contemporary world is increasingly connected due to information technologies and electronic devices such as smartphones and tablets. However, technology is not a neutral tool for carrying out a task that would otherwise be performed in the same way: its internal architectures and structures favor some possibilities, make others unfeasible and, ultimately, transform culture and the understanding that we have about human beings themselves. Education, therefore, cannot fail to be affected by these developments, and being able to understand and see them in the classroom, to reflect critically on them and on the changes that derive from these technologies in what is understood as education and in the pedagogical relationships between students, teachers and knowledge is not a negligible task. In this sense, “Didactic mediation in times of digital media” invites active teachers to participate in these discussions and to develop and record their own practices in the face of the current technological scenario.

The course will be developed virtually and entirely remotely, using the Moodle platform. The focus will be on the study, design, and use of artificial intelligence in educational practices, with emphasis on the use of ChatGPT as a mediating element in the teaching-learning process in the classroom. It is important to note that theoretical and practical classes will be combined, and the activities will be limited to the virtual space of the Moodle platform. The course's programmatic themes are contextualized in the application of artificial intelligence as an aid in the co-production of educational content in the classroom, as well as mediation in the process of knowledge construction.

Course Objective
This course aims to reflect with you on a recent phenomenon in Brazil, which is the presence of a large amount of information via the digital world. We will show you different ways of what we can do with this incredible amount of media and how to participate in the creation of digital content in a sober and safe way. In addition, we sought advice from several community leaders, and you will have access to their perceptions and analyses in the videos of each week of the course. Wanting to know what people who are different from us think is always a good place to start investigating.
There is a tradition of thinking about contemporary philosophy in Brazil as a way of thinking about our reality. Philosophers are those who think about the world, about what happens in the world, and who update us with reflections on our lives and our relationships.
Audience
Anyone interested in participating in this reflection. The course is open to anyone who wants to connect.
