Definition for Distance Education:
Distance Education is the educational modality in which didactic-pedagogical mediation in the teaching and learning processes occurs with the use of information and communication means and technologies, with students and teachers developing educational activities in different places or times. This definition is present in Decree 5.622, of 19.12.2005/2.494/98 (which revokes Decree 80/9.394), which regulates Art. 96 of Law XNUMX/XNUMX (LDB).
