Training Process
NEW STUDENT
The student's first enrollment in the course must be made at the Postgraduate Office.
ENROLLMENT IN DISCIPLINES
Enrollment must be completed every six months via the DAC (Academic Directorate) website, during the periods defined in the Academic Calendar.
REGISTRATION CHANGE
It is a resource through which the student can include and/or exclude subjects, without them appearing on their academic record.
Changes to registration must be made online, on the DAC website, within the deadlines defined by the School Calendar.
WITHDRAWAL FROM ENROLLMENT IN SUBJECTS
It is a resource used by the student, after the change deadline. This withdrawal will be recorded on the student's academic record, but will not interfere with the calculation of their CR (performance coefficient).
Withdrawal from a course must be made online, on the DAC website, within the deadlines defined by the School Calendar.
SEMESTER LOCKDOWN
According to the Regulations, the student may – for exceptional reasons and with the agreement of the supervisor and approval of the CPG – suspend enrollment up to two times during the course, consecutive or not.
VALIDATION OF DISCIPLINES AND/OR LANGUAGES
Postgraduate courses taken prior to enrolling in the course may be validated.
The validation rules are set out in the General Regulations for Postgraduate Courses, CHAPTER VII, “Realization of studies”.
The course is organized with a workload of 360 hours. Based on the Regulations of the Postgraduate Program in Education at FE/UNICAMP, its minimum duration is 12 (twelve) months and maximum duration is 30 (thirty) months.
The performance of the Postgraduate student will be expressed by a performance coefficient (CR) which is the weighted average of the grades obtained in the activities taken, taking as weight for each of them the corresponding number of credits.
The Performance Coefficient will be calculated from the student's entry into the Program and will also include the credits and grades of the validated subjects taken at Unicamp prior to entry into the Program.
The student will be automatically removed from the Postgraduate Program in the following cases:
I - if, from the second period onwards, you obtain a CR lower than 2,5.
II – If you obtain a grade of D or E in any repeated activity or in more than one subject;
III - if the maximum period established in Article 3 of the Regulation is exceeded
IV - if he fails the Qualifying Exam twice;
V - if you fail the Foreign Language Proficiency Exam twice, in the same language; in the same language
VI - if you withdraw and/or request justified withdrawal from all subjects in which you are enrolled in a given period;
VII – If it does not comply with the provisions of § 4 of Article 17 of the Regulation
VIII - if there is unsatisfactory performance in research activities, duly certified by the supervisor and endorsed by the Postgraduate Committee - CPG.
Any student who falls into one of these situations may only be readmitted to the Course through a new selection process.
The Academic Board is responsible for carrying out the cancellations and terminations of enrollment referred to here.
