 About the Seminar

The International Distance Education Seminar: Innovations in Higher Education through Educational Technologies in Digital Culture was organized by the Distance Education team of the Faculty of Education (FE), with the support of Prof. Luiz Carlos de Freitas (FE director), and its priority was to inform faculty, students and staff of FE at UNICAMP, other university units, as well as other national and international Higher Education Institutions, about the potential of educational technologies to provide innovative ways of teaching and learning in higher education by offering courses for training and continuing education in the following modalities: in-person, blended and distance learning. Furthermore, faculty-researchers from Brazilian and international universities, with practical knowledge, addressed topics that offered participants the relevance of teacher preparation for the integration of educational technologies into the Pedagogical Project and the curriculum in contemporary times.
