[sd]

“[sd]” is a poem that makes up the book of death(s) written by professor Nima Spigolon, published by Editora Pangeia https://editorapangeia.com.br/ in early 2021. The initiative originated from the social isolation settings resulting from the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic and
in the planning meetings for the first semester of the 2021 school year between the professors from the Faculty of Education at UNICAMP and course coordinators (Pedagogy and Integrated Degree in Physics and Chemistry).

The production of the video/audio “[sd]” was a project developed with the participation of a former student (Bruna Campos), technical-administrative staff (EAD Directorate and Events Secretariat) and professor Ana Elisa Spaolonzi, under the coordination of professor Nima Spigolon, all from the Faculty of Education at UNICAMP.

This material is part of the “Image Campaign” solidarity”, the result of which is sonorous, critical, and image-filled poetry that invites and welcomes students, becoming a powerful experience of sharing meanings and manifestations capable of re-signifying human existence and the times-spaces of remote education.

Distance (without/at) education

“Education (without/at) a distance” is an amateur experience of an artistic, pedagogical and political nature, by professor Nima Spigolon, which unites three fields of art: literature, music and image.

Text written by her, initially within the framework of the program “Pedagogical Residency – Sub-project Pedagogy Literacy”, coordinated by professor Adriana Varani and by her and, later, expanded to the “Image Campaign solidarity” of the Faculty of Education at UNICAMP through the course coordinators (Pedagogy and Integrated Degree in Physics and Chemistry), with a view to inviting and welcoming students for remote activities in the first semester of 2021.

The starting point is the scenario of a pandemic, humanitarian and political crisis, passing through the text until reaching the image. The result mixes seeing, reading and hearing, whose creation process was crossed with the participation of former student (Bruna Campos), technical-administrative staff (EAD Directorate and Events Secretariat) and professors Ana Elisa Spaolonzi and Claudia Bortolato under the coordination of professor Nima Spigolon, all from the Faculty of Education at UNICAMP.

According to Professor Nima Spigolon, it is important to point out that the project “Education (without/at) a distance” does not aim for more elaborate technical aspects. The originality lies in creating with what is at hand, at home, on the shelves or in your files. The dissemination is done through FE/UNICAMP’s social networks. This limitation is part of the beauty, characterization and ambiance of the initiative.
