Defenses and Qualifications – Pre-booking of Date/Time for EAD support

Due to the suspension of in-person activities, the demand for remote activities by the EaD team has grown significantly, including for qualifications and defenses of dissertations and theses, with the participation of online panels.

Therefore, in response to the request in letter FE 046/2020, from the Management, it is recommended that the qualifications and defenses of dissertations and theses be scheduled to begin during the interval between 9am, in the morning, and 13pm, in the afternoon. Whenever possible, the defense/qualification should also be avoided after 17:XNUMX p.m.

Furthermore, it is not recommended to have more than one qualification or defense during the same period of the day, in order to ensure adequate service from the EaD team and the safety conditions of each activity.
