
Unicamp's Faculty of Education (FE) received a visit from representatives of the French Consulate in Brazil last Tuesday, May 7, as part of an institutional agenda aimed at expanding cooperation between French universities and Unicamp.
The objective of the visit was to strengthen academic collaboration relations between Unicamp and French institutions, in addition to presenting research and exchange opportunities in France to the university's academic community.
The program began with a meeting with professors, students and researchers interested in conducting research in France, held in the Fausto Castilho Auditorium. The French delegation included the Science and Technology Attaché of the Cooperation and Cultural Action Service Marion Magnan, the Cooperation and Cultural Action Attaché Patrice Pauc and the Science and Technology Advisor Guillaume Gueguen. They were welcomed by the director of FE, Débora Jeffrey, and by the team formed by the coordinators of the Postgraduate Program, Cristiane Machado and the Coordination of Research and Scientific Dissemination (CPDC), Nora Rut Krawczyk, Professor Alexandro Henrique Paixão (DECISE), the technical coordinator of the unit, Tassiane Bragagnolo Pedron and the technical assistant of the postgraduate program, Paola Lisboa e Cruz.
During the visit, the director presented to the guests the main areas of activity of FE, highlighting its academic production, internationalization projects and research fronts in education.

The guests also visited the Videoconference rooms of the FE Distance Education Coordination and the Joel Martins Library, which were presented by coordinator Leandro Barbosa and supervisor Vicente Estevam Júnior, respectively.


The visit reaffirms the mutual interest in strengthening strategic partnerships in the field of science, technology and teacher training, opening doors to new possibilities for cooperation between FE, Unicamp and French institutions.
