New prices are valid for travel from 01/03/2025
FAPESP has updated the table of daily allowances in Brazil and abroad, used by researchers and scholarship holders with resources granted in grant and scholarship processes.
The table with the new values can be found at fapesp.br/17413. The table valid until 28/02/2025 will remain available for consultation at fapesp.br/16590.
We also clarify that the rules for the use of per diems are defined by FAPESP through Ordinance PR No. 35/2020, and the Rules for the Use of Resources and Accountability can be consulted at fapesp.br/normaspc.
The new values are valid for daily allowances used in all processes starting on 01/03/2025. For trips already scheduled from this date, researchers and scholarship holders must pay attention to the new values.
For locations where the daily allowance has increased, the scholarship holder or researcher may use any balance that may exist in the process for this item to supplement the daily allowance, as long as they comply with all other Foundation rules.
Considering that FAPESP uses the UN table as a reference for international daily allowances, there are cases in which the daily allowance may be lower than that in effect up to February 28, 02. In these cases, the researcher or scholarship holder may not use a higher amount than that provided for the destination of the trip, starting from the date the new table comes into effect.
