Objective: Knowledge of different didactic-pedagogical practices regarding education for Africanities in the context of citizenship formation; Encourage the construction of knowledge about Africanities in accordance with Law 10.639/03; Encourage the production of teaching materials for the recognition and appreciation of the African and Afro-Brazilian legacy for education; Expand the linguistic and cultural repertoire of educators; Establish a dialogue between the university and the external community. Dissemination Course | EDUCATION FOR PEACE: TRAINING AND STRATEGIC ACTIONS

Objective: Propose theoretical reflections, practical activities and reflection on practice, present theoretical foundations for the organization of an environment of cooperative coexistence, with a view to providing opportunities to build knowledge related to Education for Peace. To this end, the child must live in a school environment that promotes the learning and experience of democratic values, which is inserted in a context rich in stimuli for social exchanges and reflections, which allows him/her to experience and understand the importance of such values. Provide conditions for understanding harmonious coexistence, involving the notion of conflict, democratic space, protagonism, citizenship, as well as propose activities and workshops related to Education for Peace. Create opportunities for students in the course to appropriate important concepts for Education for Peace, including Human Rights, Tolerance and Culture of Peace.

Extension Course | THE INTERPRETATIVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MATHEMATICS TEACHER IN THE SCOPE OF GEOMETRIC TRANSFORMATIONS AND SYMMETRY

Objective: Develop the teacher's Interpretative Knowledge when solving interpretative tasks in the scope of isometric geometric transformations (reflection, rotation and translation) and symmetry. Develop the specificities of the teacher's mathematical knowledge to interpret, assign meaning and provide constructive feedback to students' productions. Develop mathematical tasks for students in the scope of these Geometry topics and discuss their implementation in the classroom, situating the teacher in his/her practice.

Extension Course | INTERPRETATIVE KNOWLEDGE OF MATHEMATICS TEACHERS IN THE FINAL YEARS OF ELEMENTARY AND HIGH SCHOOL IN THE CONTEXT OF OPERATIONS WITH FRACTIONS

Objective: Develop the Interpretative and Specialized Knowledge of the mathematics teacher in the context of operations with fractions. Implement Interpretative Tasks in order to mobilize the teacher's knowledge to interpret students' productions and expand their solution space with different strategies for solving a problem (incorrect, unexpected and unusual). Develop the feedback proposed in students' productions.

Target Audience:  Mathematics teachers from public and private schools, mathematics researchers and undergraduate students in Mathematics and other areas.
