Objective:
General objective: To contribute to the training of educators who are dedicated to children, with reading, especially literary reading, as a training tool, as the axis of reflection, and migration and refuge throughout the world, a central issue of our time, as the object of migration.
Specific: Present the concepts and Brazilian and international legislation on the subject, reflecting on them; Identify and analyze the discourses on the subject that circulate in different instances and their scope in constructing the population's perception on the issue; Consider reading, especially literary reading, as an instrument of education in different contexts – school, library, family environment – and its contribution to the reflection on human rights; Know and analyze the representation of the subject in children's books published in Brazil, considering the approaches most present in this production and its aesthetic elaboration.
Target Audience: Educators; teachers; refugees from all higher education backgrounds and/or professions.
