Since 2018, the Ministry of Education has made Extension mandatory in the workload of Undergraduate courses and, with this change, many doubts arose about how to implement extension actions in Undergraduate courses and especially how to finance them, since the budget allocated to this area is still very low.
The Coordination of Extension, Events and Special Projects prepared a booklet, which not only explains what extension is, its areas of activity, types and ways of carrying it out, but also presents different ways of raising funds for Extension projects, whether they are already existing at Unicamp, or through public notices, parliamentary amendments, incentive laws, private partnerships or independent financing.
