Plasma Unicamp, a space for extension and practical events

Meet Plasma: an environment focused on hands-on learning that has a structure for students, staff and teachers to meet and develop their projects.

The Plasma Space represents an excellent opportunity to establish partnerships with the community outside Unicamp and for extension projects, in addition to events such as workshops and audio recordings.. Plasma also hosts extracurricular activities, such as lectures and workshops, in addition to the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Projects discipline, which was carried out thanks to the collaboration between students and teachers.

The goal of Plasma is to encourage hands-on learning. Here the Unicamp community can develop spontaneous projects, participate in the subject EX006 or activities extracurricular in an interdisciplinary and collaborative environment.

The space is divided into co-working rooms, a workshop with a 3D printer, two multipurpose rooms with capacity for 30 people each, and an event space with bleachers and projection. It has a projector and sound system, educart, microphones, two 40-inch TVs, a pantry (with refrigerator, microwave, and lockers), and Wi-Fi. It also has a recording studio for podcasts, interviews, or audio narrations, with capacity for up to 6 people and an acoustic wall. The Plasma Laboratory structure was designed with Unicamp's first gender-neutral bathrooms and all accessibility resources (elevator, ramps, tactile flooring, furniture, and bathroom adapted for people with disabilities).

Its location is very close to the Faculty of Education, on the same block, next to the Executive Secretariat of Communication. Address: Av. Albert Einstein, 851, Zeferino Vaz University City, Campinas, SP, 13083-852.

The space remains open Monday to Sunday, from 7am to 23pm.
