Good Practices in Research

At Unicamp and the Faculty of Education, all research involving human beings in data collection must request authorization from the Research Ethics Committee for the Humanities and Social Sciences (CEP-CHS), linked to Dean of Research.

Since August 2015, all students entering graduate courses at Unicamp must sign a declaration at the time of enrollment stating that they are aware of the need to obtain the necessary authorizations to begin research involving human beings. The declaration is provided by the graduate program. The CEP's approval report must be included in the final version of the dissertation or thesis.

Projects are sent to the CEP entirely via Platform Brazil.

For more information about submitting projects to the Committee, visit the CEP website-CHS, read the Frequently Asked Questions below or contact us by email: cepchs@unicamp.br and by phone (19) 3521-6836.
