FAQ

I'm submitting a project to FAPESP, but I have questions about completing the Annex II and Director's Statement forms. What should I do?

The documents Annex II and the Manager's Statement already have a pre-filled format in CPDC website. Simply include the Project Title, Scholarship Recipient (for scholarship applications), and Principal Investigator and/or Advisor/Supervisor. Then, forward both documents to cpdcfe@unicamp.br that we will provide the signatures.

Important note: it is not necessary for the person responsible/advisor/supervisor to sign the document through gov.br as UNICAMP's signature system, SIGAD, automatically excludes this type of signature.

Which funding agencies does CPDC provide technical/administrative support to?

The CPDC provides technical/administrative support for FAPESP projects, such as:

  • Management of digital signatures in initial application documents for submission of FAPESP projects;
  • Support with documents and accountability;
  • Forwarding and resolving queries with the Office of the Vice-Rector for Research (PRP) and directly with FAPESP through the “Talk to FAPESP” channel;

For other funding agencies, such as CNPq and CAPES, the form of support that can be offered by the team is limited to collecting information from the agencies or the PRP to clarify doubts and eventually providing in-person assistance to check the system, as well as the possibility of assistance in completing submission documents and monitoring the research.

We emphasize that CPDC does not operate in and does not have direct access to the systems of development agencies.

Who can co-supervise IC and TCC?

IC
The information is present in the PIBIC notice itself and can be found in item 3.9.2

3.9.2. Researchers with a completed master's degree (doctoral students, post-doctoral students, etc.) will be accepted as co-supervisors.

Undergraduate Research
About co-orientation TCC, there is no regulation at FE or Unicamp, but it follows the same understanding of scientific initiation and therefore people with a master's degree can be TCC co-supervisors.
